- updates the information regarding the European and national legislative regulations for the audiovisual sector
- announces on the Media Desk Romania web page and through a periodical newsletter the objectives, the regulations and the deadlines of the call for proposals initiated by the European Commission regarding the MEDIA Programme
- disseminates information regarding the significant events in the field, at national and international level, through the webpage or the newsletter
- organizes seminars and meetings in order to disseminate the successful projects financed through MEDIA Programme
- edits and distributes free of charge brochures and leaflets containing synthetic information on the evolution of the MEDIA Programme in Romania and in Europe
