Promotion

MEDIA funding supports all kinds of promotion to help European independent producers and distributors gain access to and participate at the key European and international events and to promote European works on the major international markets.

In the field of promotion the objectives of the Programme are:

  1. to improve the circulation of European audiovisual works by ensuring that the European audiovisual sector has access to European and international professional markets;
  2. to improve the European and international public's access to European audiovisual works;
  3. to encourage common actions between national film and audiovisual Programme promotion organizations;
  4. to encourage the promotion of Europe's cinematographic and audiovisual heritage and the improvement of the public's access to it at both European and international level.
